
ABOUT DR. BAKER - NATUROPATH

Dr. Baker (ND) has a clinical focus in diabetes, heart health, kidney health, skin health (including eczema and psoriasis), supportive cancer care and cancer prevention.

He has completed an internship at the CCNM Integrative Cancer Center. He keeps well-versed on human clinical research trials within the fields of clinical nutrition, oncology and herbal medicine.
He prioritizes evidence-informed therapies and works in collaboration with your health care providers to deliver unique solutions to patients with complex chronic health conditions.

Dr. Baker (ND) aims to help bring clarity and confidence to patients – to empower them with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions.

Education and Background
All licensed naturopathic doctors go through formal education and training at an accredited institution. They study a range of topics including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, diagnosis, nutrition, botanical medicine and much more. After completing our education, naturopaths must pass a standardized board exam to become a licensed practitioner.
Dr. Baker (ND) has finished nearly a decade of post-secondary and post-graduate schooling. This included over four thousand hours of classroom and clinical training. He has completed over 70 courses in fields such as nutrition, physical therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, botanical medicine, and more.
There are over 300 botanical therapies he has access to in his practice. After a comprehensive assessment of your case Dr. Baker (ND) often uses a combination of these botanical therapies. He has been trained in pathology, which included testing on over 500 medical conditions. Dr. Baker (ND) completed education in diagnostic and laboratory testing (including over 200 tests). He has also shadowed at Sunnybrook hospital in their cancer center and spent a year on the cancer shift at the integrative cancer center in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Credentials: Our NDs completed their post-graduate 4-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at the largest accredited naturopathic medical college and leading research institution in North America, the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). They are regulated health professionals licensed with the regulating body in Ontario, the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
