The Naturopathic visit appointment times are about an hour or so to allow for a thorough health history. This involves a review of all the determinants of your health, such as personal medical history, family history, life stressors, physical environment and more. Depending on the format of the visit (in-person or virtual), this step also involves physical exams when necessary based on your health concerns.

Clinical nutrition is an important component of naturopathic medicine. Our NDs help you understand your nutritional status and its effect on your personal health based on your health concerns and goals.
Lifestyle counselling involves education and support throughout your health journey.
Botanical medicine involves the use of therapeutic properties of plants to treat or manage a health concern. It can be in the form of herbal teas, concentrated tinctures (i.e. herbal extracts), encapsulated powders or topical therapies.
Our NDs are trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine involving tongue and pulse diagnosis, herbal medicine and acupuncture. This form of medicine helps us gather a more complete picture of health that always opens doors for us with regards to treatment options to help you achieve your best health.
Past and present diagnostic and laboratory tests are commonly utilized to help identify the root causes of what may be affecting your health. Depending on the health condition, this diagnostic and laboratory testing can involve blood work, medical reports (MRIs, X-rays or scans), and urine tests.
